I’m excited to share my latest piece of Blob Art, created using a unique butterfly template that adds a whimsical and vibrant twist to this fun technique.
Blob Art involves using a specially prepared mixture of thicker, heavy-body acrylic paints. By carefully layering blobs of paint in various colours, I create a stunning pattern that builds up like a colourful pyramid — each layer slightly smaller than the last, adding depth and texture to the artwork.
This butterfly design showcases the beautiful randomness and texture that Blob Art offers, combining colour, form, and movement in a truly eye-catching way.
You can see this piece in person at the Daisy Arts Summer Exhibition!
📅 Date: 15th July
🕖 Time: 7 pm – 9 pm (one night only)
📍 Location: Woodland Close Community Centre, Bishop Auckland DL14 6PD
I’d love for you to come along, enjoy the exhibition, and see this and other artworks up close.
Thank you for your support and interest in my art journey!
